OUR actions

Tour Letan works at the heart of the local community to create, promote and pass on knowledge and heritage.

Through projects combining employment and social inclusion, heritage promotion, leisure and water-based activities, culture, and support for local initiatives, the association works to make the Étang de Saint-Paul area a vibrant, dynamic and welcoming place for everyone.

From the eco-friendly leisure centre and local makers’ markets to community events, activities and discovery projects, Tour Letan designs and develops initiatives that bring residents, local stakeholders and their territory closer together.

Partner Platform for Employment

Social Inclusion &

Employment

Create inclusive economic opportunities by connecting residents of QPV priority neighbourhoods with community projects, local skills and employment, social inclusion and entrepreneurship opportunities rooted in the local area.

Bring together partners such as France Active, ADIE and CCI, as well as local associations and organisations from the social and solidarity economy (SSE).

Support local residents on their path to employment and entrepreneurship, highlight hidden talents, and support people who are currently far from the labour market.

A first event was held in Grande Fontaine, as a morning session dedicated to employment and social inclusion.

More than 20 partners involved, from the non-profit, business, institutional and training sectors.

Awareness and Promotion

Promoting Our Heritage

Expansion of the existing heritage inventory, with the support of a Master’s student in Anthropology who collected 60 personal accounts. Funding from the Citizen Initiative Budget (BIC) for a project promoting local heritage. A trial walk/guided tour was organised with local residents involved in the project.

Raise awareness among residents and visitors about local history and traditions. Encourage local residents to get involved in initiatives aimed at preserving and promoting their heritage. Develop educational tools to raise awareness of the environment, local heritage and cultures. Promote the heritage of the City of Saint-Paul and the wider PTCE area.

Pillar 2: Making Activities Accessible to Everyone

Develop the eco-centre’s appeal by offering, in one location, a wide range of activities, events, training programmes and services.

Pillar 4: A Tool for Social Innovation and Best Practice

Train other stakeholders and help replicate the initiative elsewhere. Develop a sustainable management framework for tourism activities within a protected natural area.
